Absolute quiet, five minutes from the village

Set on the heights between Eygalières and Maussane-les-Alpilles, Le Pas du Loup sits in a landscape of rare intensity. The property overlooks a valley of centuries-old olive trees and faces the limestone crests of the Alpilles Regional Nature Park.

Fully restored, the mas marries the authentic character of stone — arches, vaults, antique beams — with the most discreet contemporary comfort. The volumes are generous, light pours through, and every opening frames the landscape.

No neighbours in sight, a private gate, a cypress-lined drive: privacy here is complete. Hiking trails start from the estate, and the village is a five-minute drive away.

Each has a king-size bed, a private walk-in shower and WC, air cooling and its own view over the garrigue. Three open level with the garden; upstairs, two master suites add a bathtub and a dressing room.

Good to know

Is breakfast really included every day?
Yes. Every morning the table is laid with fresh pastries and bread, seasonal fruit, homemade jams, juice and coffee. It is included in the weekly rate, with no supplement and no minimum number of guests.
How does the daily housekeeping work?
Two hours of housekeeping are provided every day, during breakfast: a quick tidy-up of the living areas, bedrooms and bathrooms. The end-of-stay clean is also included. Staff do not handle guests' dishes or personal laundry.
Is the pool heated all year round?
Pool heating is included from 15 May to 15 September. Outside that period it can be switched on by request, at extra cost.
Is the house suitable for young children?
Yes. A play area, a treehouse, a slide and a swing await the children, the pool has a safety cover, and our concierge can arrange babysitting and children's activities on request, at extra cost. Cot and high chair on request. However, the upper floor has an open balustrade, so particular care is needed with very young children.
Can we book a private chef?
Yes — our concierge arranges private chefs, massages, transfers, babysitting, grocery delivery or private estate visits. These are charged separately and should be booked before arrival.
What is the changeover day?
In high season, stays run Saturday to Saturday. In low and mid season we can be flexible: simply indicate your dates in the enquiry form.
Is there mobile coverage and Wi-Fi?
The house is equipped with very-high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi covering the interior, the terraces and the pool house. Remote work and video calls are comfortable here.
